Revelation is a difficult book that has confounded the best minds of the church and been abused by the most naive populists throughout Christian history. It is so difficult that it even John himself was perplexed, as we see in Revelation 17:6-7.

In Revelation we meet bizarre creatures such as fire-breathing horses with locust tails, a seven-headed beast, a woman standing on the moon, and more. What does al of it mean? How can we understand Revelation’s dramatic narrative? When did John expect these things to transpire?

In these twenty-four careful, down-to-earth lectures is provided a basic introduction to and survey of the entire Book of Revelation. The viewer will receive important interpretive tools for understanding the dramatic flow and bewildering imagery of Revelation. And with those tools in hand we will work our way through the book from beginning to end — in short, clear, insightful, and compeling lectures.

4 DVDs containing over eleven hours of instruction on Revelation!

Each DVD holds six lectures, each being approximately thirty minutes each.

Perfect for individual, small group or Sunday school studies!

“I am excited for the firs time, to be reading and understanding Revelation in light of history and cross-referencing the Bible itself. I was surprised and happy to find that, after my own personal study, my findings were reiterated by Dr. Gentry’s study. Thank you for sharing your work, I very much appreciate the level of background research you have put into this study.”

“I just finished watching the 24th lecture of Revelation. Loved the whole thing! I have studied Revelation many times from many viewpoints and have always believed the whole book was one big mystery. Every viewpoint I read left lots of unexplained questions. Your lectures have really allowed the Scriptures to interpret themselves and now the whole thing ‘fits’ in my mind. It really is a Revelation after all. Thank you SO much!”

Two of the strongest systems of our day are known as Dispensationalism and Covenant Theology. Throughout this century they have been challenging one another for consideration in the minds of Christians. In this present work, Dr. Belcher seeks in the first two chapters to state in an objective manner the convictions of both systems. In the final chapter he compares the two in important areas of thinking. In the conclusion he gives instructions for a Christian to consider as he seeks to build a system of theology or as he tries to understand which system of theology is really Scriptural.

What is the Great Tribulation?
When will it occur?
What significance does it have for understanding the New Testament?

These and other important questions are carefully answered in this book as Dr. Kenneth Gentry analyzes Jesus’ Olivet Discourse.

In this addition to the “Made Easy Series” you will discover an insightful and compelling verse-by-verse exposition of the Lord’s longest discourse. Not only so but you will also be introduced to vitally important contextual cues essential for properly interpreting it.

Christ’s teaching on the great tribulation has long intrigued and transfixed Christians. This is especially true in the modern evangelical church today. What Bible-believing Christian has not been alarmed by Christ’s prophetic warning about a time in which men will experience “wars and rumors of wars” (Matt 24:6)? “Famines and earthquakes” (Matt 24:7)? “False prophets” who “will mislead many” (Matt 24:10)? These are fearsome images presented by our Lord to his people.

Unfortunately, most Christians leap into the Olivet Discourse with little understanding of how Matthew carefully sets it into the context of Jesus’ whole ministry. As a result they wholly misconstrue its message. Since Jesus gave us this much prophetic material and at the very climax of his ministry, we need to understand it as he intended.

In this work, Dr. Gentry re-issues the call of the discourse itself: “let the reader understand” (Matt. 24:15b).

Kenneth L. Gentry, Jr., Th.D., is Director of www.NiceneCouncil.com and www.ApologeticsGroup.com. He has written more than two dozen books on a variety of theological topics, including his best-sellers: He Shall Have Dominion and Before Jerusalem Fell.

The Made Easy Series™ from NiceneCouncil.com provides substantial studies on significant issues in a succinct and accessible format from an evangelical and Reformed perspective.

There has always been doctrinal controversy in the Christian Church, whether over the nature of God in the early Trinitarian counsels, the divinity and humanity of Christ, or the doctrine of justification by faith as central and fundamental to the Reformation. However, of all the doctrinal controversies in Church history, none has been more heated, divisive, and emotional among Funda¬mentalists, Charismatics, Evangelicals, Reformed, and Liberals than the doctrine of “predestination.”

Every Christian who truly believes the Bible is required to believe something about “predestination.” Why? Because the term and concept are found in the Holy Scripture. It is therefore unavoidable that the Christian must study the doctrine as presented in the Bible. They must formulate some view on its meaning and purpose as determined by God, because He conveyed the concept to us in His Word.

“He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and with¬out blame before Him, in love having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will.” (Ephesians 1:4–5)

In this Made Easy Series™book, Dr. Kenneth Gentry will introduce the biblical meaning and significance of “predestination.” He will define, demonstrate, and defend the doctrine of God’s absolute predestination which either appears on or is implied on virtually every page of Scripture.

About the Author

Kenneth L. Gentry, Jr., Th.D., has written over two dozen books on a variety of Christian and biblical issues. This is his fourth Made Easy™ Series book.

“A must read for all who call themselves Christian.” — Dr. Kenneth G. Talbot, President, Whitefield Theological Seminary

“A well-structured, historically-grounded, clearly worded and supremely scriptural presentation.” — ReformationTheology.com

“A resource of tremendous value.” — Monergism Books Notes

The Made Easy Series™ from NiceneCouncil.com provides substantial studies on significant issues in a succinct and accessible format from an evangelical and Reformed perspective.

The average Bible-believing Christian today believes that we are living in the shadow of the Second Coming. Consequently, they hold no long-range view of the future because they expect the Rapture to snatch them out of the world at any minute. Postmillennialism, however, offers Christians an exciting hope-filled view of the future that encourages long-term planning and diligent labor for the glory of God.

Postmillennialists believe that “the gospel is the power of God unto salvation” (Rom 1:16) and that “the earth is the Lord’s and the fulness thereof” (Psa 24:1). Thus, postmillennialists are committed to the world-conquering task that the Lord Jesus Christ gave his Church just before ascending to the right hand of God in heaven: “Go, make disciples of all the nations” (Matt 28:19). They are confident in Christ’s promise: “If I be lifted up from the earth, I will draw all men to Myself” (John 12:32). On the basis of these and many other Scripture passages, postmillennialism offers an optimistic outlook on the future, urging Christians to believe that “your labor is not in vain in the Lord” (1 Cor 15:58). In this Made Easy Series™ book you will find a clear and succinct presentation of postmillennialism. You may also find your Christian life changed as you study the case for postmillennialism from creation through redemption to consummation.

“If the foundations are destroyed, What can the righteous do?” (Psalm 11:3).

We live in an age of accelerating moral decline which bodes ill for the future of our culture, society, and nation. A stable, peaceful, and productive society requires a secure and righteous moral foundation. Man cannot exist without a moral code to restrain his sinful passions and to guide him to righteous conduct.

Our collapsing mores should especially be a deep concern for Christians because moral decadence, left unchecked, inevitably leads to social collapse. And this will not only destroy Christian families, but the opportunity of the Christian witness to the world. Though in the historical long-run the Christian faith will eventually grow to righteous dominance in the world, Christians must labor now to be a part of the solution to the contemporary moral problem. And this means that we must renew our commitment to Scripture.

Contained within the absolute truth of God’s Word we find his solution to man’s moral confusion: God’s absolute standard for righteousness contained in his holy Law. Unfortunately, contemporary theological discussions too quickly write-off any consideration of both the legitimacy of God’s Law in the new covenant era and the applicability of it in the modern world setting.

Because of the nature of the modern debate and our special need for socio-political as well as personal norms, this book will focus specifically on the question of the relevance of the Old Testament Law today. Christians need to return to a whole-Bible ethic rather than a piece-meal it-seems-to-me morality. God’s Law Made Easy is a good place to start.

About Kenneth L. Gentry, Jr.

Ken is the Director of www.NiceneCouncil.com and its sister company Apologetics Group. He received his B.A. in Biblical Studies from Tennessee Temple University (1973, cum laude). After graduating he enrolled at Grace Theological Seminary in Winona Lake, Indiana. After two years at Grace Seminary (1973-1975) he left dispensationalism, having become convinced of a covenant and Reformed theology. He transferred to Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi (1975-1977). Upon completing studies at Reformed Theological Seminary he was awarded the M.Div. in 1977. After several years of pastoral ministry, he earned a Th.M. (1986) and a Th.D. (1987, magna cum laude) from Whitefield Theological Seminary, both in the field of New Testament.
Had I wished I might have started a conflagration at Worms. But while I sat still and drank beer with Philip and Amsdorf, God dealt the papacy a mighty blow.” Martin Luther

Does the Bible condemn the consumption of alcoholic beverages? or does it allow for them with warnings against abuse?

In this four part docu-lecture, Dr. Ken Gentry presents the whole counsel of God in regards to this subject. He takes on the passages often used of prohibitionists and allows God’s word to speak in its context.

He deals with the original languages, warnings and even exhortations to celebrate with alcoholic beverages. This session is to help encourage those weaker in the faith to become strong and not think the kingdom of God is eating and drinking.

Christian liberty and growth are at the heart of Dr. Gentry’s lectures. If we lose one, we will inevitably lose the other.

This series is broken down into segments useful for discussion or classes.

In this four-part series, Dr. Kenneth L. Gentry, Jr., considers the much-debated question of ecclesiastical creeds and confessions.

Some churches cite creeds in worship; some don’t. Some congregations require officers to commit to a confession; others don’t. In fact, some Christians even decry creeds as undermining the authority of Scripture. A great doctrinal divide separates these two camps. To creed or not to creed, that is the question!

Most Christians are familiar with the ancient Apostles’ Creed. But what is the evangelical Christian to think about this and other creeds and confessions? Are they harmful? Or helpful? Do they undermine Scripture? Or under-gird it? Are they insignificant? Or important? These are important questions both historically and spiritually. Creeds have played an important role in Christian history. And Christians on both sides of the issue continue to vigorously debate them.

In this series, Dr. Gentry explains the point of creeds for those not familiar with their rationale. He also defends their biblical warrant and practical usefulness. This study should prove valuable for both sides of the issue: It should help creedalists understand why the use creeds. It should better instruct anti-creedalists in the position so that they might properly evaluate the evidence.

Each lecture is around 20-25 minutes in length. This is perfect for use in a Sunday school program, or any personal or small group Bible study. To enhance its usefulness there is a PDF version of the lecture outlines. These outlines provide adequate space for note-taking while watching the lectures. You may print-off as many outlines as needed for your class.

This has been the motto of twentieth-century evangelism. Having encountered heavy resistance to the prophet’s message of comprehensive revival and restoration in history, modern evangelical Christianity has abandoned the prophets. Unlike Jonah, who grew weary of life in the belly of a whale, modern evangelicalism has not only grown accustomed to the Church’s cultural irrelevance today, it has actually proclaimed this pathetic condition as God’s plan for the “Church Age.” But is it? Not according to Jesus’ instructions to His Church: the discipline (putting under God’s discipline) of all nations.

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen (Matthew 28:19-20).

Paul makes it clear that the progressive expansion of Jesus’ kingdom in history will continue until all things are under His dominion, on earth, before He returns physically to judge the world. “For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death” (I Corinthians 15-25-26). This was David’s message, too:

The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool. The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies
(Psalm 110:1-2)

In The Greatness of the Great Commission, Rev. Kenneth L. Gentry, Jr., Diretcor of NiceneCouncil.com presents a comprehensive biblical case for God’s comprehensive salvation and restoration in history. Sin is comprehensive; God’s healing grace is no less comprehensive. Whenever sin reigns today, there God speaks to sinful man and offers a way of escape. “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it” (I Corinthians 10:13). To argue that the Great Commission does not include every aspect of today’s cultures – all of Satan’s kingdom – is to argue that there is no way of escape in many areas of life.

The war between God’s kingdom (civilization) on earth and Satan’s kingdom (civilization) on earth is total, encompassing every aspect of life. The Great Commission calls the Church (in this “Church Age”) to make a full-scale attack on modern humanist civilization, but always in terms of a positive message and practical program: a better way of life in every area of life. This is the greatness of the Great Commission. It must not be narrowed to exclude culture from God’s special grace.

Ambrose Bierce in The Devil’s Dictionary defined the Book of Revelation as, “A famous book in which St. John the Divine concealed all that he knew.” And though this quip may makes us chuckle, it is far from the truth. The problem most students and commentators have is they forget the primacy of the original audience. As a result, they read the book as if the target audience was modern man instead of a persecuted church in the later half of the first century. Regrettably, Christians with this view end up debating nuclear wars and Cobra helicopters instead what the text actually says.

In this brand new professionally-produced four DVD set, Dr. Kenneth Gentry provides the necessary keys for opening Revelation to a deeper and clearer understanding. Filmed at a Revelation conference, these four lectures cover the basics necessary for understanding this challenging book.

1. Setting and Expectation of Revelation
2. Theme and Focus of Revelation
3. Characters and Flow in Revelation
4. Millennium and New Creation in Revelation

With these keys in hand you can at last gain easy access into this most difficult book of Scripture. Come sit in on the conference and gain a deeper understanding of The Revelation of Jesus Christ.

Special note: Each DVD set comes with one copy of the syllabus for note-taking while watching the series. If you want to present this to a class or study group, you will want to order extra copies of the syllabus for each student. You can find those on the website in the DVD section under the title: “Keys to the Book of Revelation: The Syllabus.”
